Beyond Beauty 

This is the heart of my work.

For me, makeup is more than what exists at the surface. It is a medium for storytelling — a way to explore identity, emotion, transformation and the deeper layers of the human experience.

Each project begins with something intangible: an idea, a feeling, a question, a piece of history, or a perspective I want to explore. From there, I build a visual language around it — considering makeup, colour, texture, styling, environment, movement and symbolism until an abstract thought becomes something tangible.

Nothing is included simply for the sake of beauty. Every detail has the opportunity to carry meaning.

What I love most about this process is discovering what exists beneath the first impression. An image can be beautiful, but it can also hold tension, vulnerability, freedom, restraint, passion, contradiction, change. The beauty draws you in; the story invites you to look closer.

These projects are where my work feels most alive — where makeup becomes part of something larger, and an idea becomes a world you can see, feel and interpret for yourself.
